Spring Break

Tyler was able to take a few days off for spring break and we definitely took advantage of it! We went to Sea World with Julie and Hannah and it was so much fun! Both Tyler and I hadn't been since we were kids and the girls had never been. We got a great makeshift show from the killer whales through the window under the amphitheater and we saw tons of other sea animals. The girls loved being able to touch the starfish and Adalyn was super excited to see the sea turtles and fish.

We were also able to go to the San Diego Safari Park (still getting used to calling it that) with my parents and had a blast! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we got to see so many animals. All of these pictures are treasures to me because we almost lost them all forever! ( I know I'm dramatic). When we were about to leave the park, I left my phone in the bathroom. When I went back in to get it, it was gone. Because I have the "find my Iphone" app we were able to track where it was on Tyler's phone. Someone had it and was already heading up the 15. We tracked it until it stopped, got the address and filed a police report. The police basically said that they couldn't legally enter their house to get it. Tyler and my dad were both willing to drive out to the address, but I wasn't willing to risk their safety just to get my phone back. We figured it was time to give up on it. The next night, we got a call from someone who said they had my phone. He said that his mother had picked it up at the Safari Park and had brought it back to him to get it back to us.--Yeah right--  I figured that he probably talked her out of keeping it since we had the "find my iphone" app enabled. Either way, I was happy to hear that they were willing to give it back. My sweet sweet husband left at about 8:00 p.m to drive all the way to LA to pick it up at a random grocery store. Thanks to the app that locked the phone when I reported it lost, all my pictures were still on it. SOO Happy! Moral of the story, if you have an Iphone, get that app as soon as possible! (and maybe, try not to leave your phone in the bathroom).

 Isn't Tyler precious? ;)

The butterfly exhibit was amazing! A butterfly landed in my mom's hair and Adalyn thought it was the coolest thing!
Then this happened! It thought Tyler made a great home because it didn't want to ever get off even when he was walking around!
My beautiful mom. They really seemed to like her.

 Baby and Mommy Gorilla
The lions were napping right by the window! Sorry about the anatomy lesson.
I couldn't believe they had so much energy, but I think there is something about an open field that just calls for children to run on it! Adalyn ran back and forth over 5 times!

It was a great day!

He is Risen!

Easter was awesome! Kora and Adalyn both loved all the Easter egg hunts with our families over the weekend and Adalyn got to sing with the primary in Sacrament meeting for the first time! She was so excited to sing and had been practicing the song all week long. When she got up to the front we could barely see her little head poking over top of the banister, but we definitely could see that beaming smile! We were so proud of her! She also did a great job telling us about the resurrection of Jesus using a paper plate tomb that we made. This was also the first Easter ( I'm sure of many many more) where we got matching dresses for the girls. Shout out to Mom and Dad for getting those for the girls. Thank you! We loved all the time we got to spend with our families.

I hope you all had a great Easter!
